Buddhism and Bodhi Tree Foundation – hopes and challenges

This was said by the Blessed One, said by the Arahant, so I have heard: “Monks, if beings knew, as I know, the results of giving & sharing, they would not eat without having given, nor would the stain of selfishness overcome their minds. The first Buddhist hermitage in Poland

We are glad to invite you to participate in a landmark event – setting up the very first Vihara (hermitage) in Poland for Buddhist monks and nuns of Theravada forest tradition. It was an invaluable opportunity for us to be in contact with Ajahn Ñāṇamoli’s teachings and to host for the first time (and we hope not the last) the Sangha from Slovenia. Ajahn was accompanied by Bhante Ñāṇadīpo, Sāmaṇera Nandako and Anagārikā Medhini. We are extremely grateful to Ajahn Ñāṇamoli and Ajahn Kondañño, as […]

Vassa traditionally begins the day after Ashala Puja, the festival commemorating Buddha’s delivery of his first sermon, the Dhammacakkappavattana Sutta, which set the Dhamma wheel in motion. […]
